Associate (2027): Investment Team

Location: Boston, MA or Menlo Park, CA, United States; office-based role

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 annual base salary, plus the ability to participate in Summit’s deals

What you will do

• Conduct research, generate investment ideas, and develop thematic sourcing strategies across Summit’s sectors of focus.
• Engage with entrepreneurs and executives of privately held companies to explore new investment opportunities.
• Build sector expertise through relationship development, conferences, and trade shows.
• Conduct due diligence and quantitative analysis on new investments and add-on opportunities.
• Help manage portfolio company relationships and contribute to strategic projects.

Requirements

• Two to three years of quantitatively based professional experience, typically in investment banking, direct investing, or consulting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Leadership experience and outstanding academic, professional, or extracurricular achievements; a GPA of 3.6+ is typical.
• Ability to think quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to the Associate position for three years.
• Ability to work from the Boston or Menlo Park office.
