Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco or New York offices (4 days in-person, Fridays remote)

What you will do

• Apply standard software engineering discipline to the non-deterministic world of frontier AI.
• Design systems around testable hypotheses and curate durable data sets.
• Collaborate with Applied AI and Product teams to ship AI products that deliver real-world impact.
• Ensure shipped solutions remain reliable and maintainable long after handover.
• Work in small, tight-knit pods on complex AI engineering projects.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site 4 days per week in San Francisco or New York.
• Must have valid work authorization for the United States.
• Strong background in software engineering with a focus on production-grade systems.
• Experience or deep interest in applying LLMs and frontier AI to real-world problems.
• Ability to thrive in an autonomous environment with a high shipping cadence.
