Quality Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Penrose, Colorado, United States

Salary: $22.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect materials, components, and finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, and specialized testing equipment.
• Record inspection results, test data, production records, and non-conformance reports to support traceability and regulatory requirements.
• Work with engineering on quality process change controls, deviations, investigations, and controlled document revisions.
• Conduct internal audits and audits under the company quality management system.
• Support laboratory testing, non-destructive testing, production machinery operation, material handling, and processing of energetic materials.
• Follow safety procedures while developing and testing solid rocket motor and energetic manufacturing systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of quality assurance experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified organization.
• Proficiency with precision measurement instruments and engineering drawings, including dimensional and tolerance verification.
• Knowledge of quality systems, statistical methods, and basic statistical process control.
• Ability to work onsite in Penrose, Colorado, including work with explosives and energetic materials.
