What you will do
- Own day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting, escalations, and walk-up assistance for the Palo Alto office.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of laptops, monitors, peripherals, and other employee hardware.
- Run technical onboarding and offboarding, including account, hardware, and access provisioning.
- Administer office networking, SaaS systems, identity and SSO, email, MDM, endpoint security, and vendor relationships.
- Define and enforce security policies covering patching, MFA, device compliance, access reviews, and phishing awareness.
- Own the IT budget, documentation, asset inventory, compliance evidence, and international IT standardization across three offices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or administration, including 2+ years owning IT or serving as a senior or sole IT resource.
- Strong experience with macOS and Windows fleets, MDM platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, or Intune, and identity/SSO administration.
- Solid networking knowledge covering DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience selecting and managing SaaS tools, software licenses, vendors, and contracts.
- Security-focused approach to patching, MFA enforcement, access reviews, endpoint protection, and password management.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Palo Alto office 5 days a week.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting distributed or international offices.
- SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance experience.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
