IT Support Engineer

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day internal IT support and manage issues from diagnosis through resolution.
• Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, peripherals, and other end-user devices.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, access, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Diagnose hardware, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
• Support meeting rooms, video conferencing, office technology, endpoint management, patching, and software deployment.
• Maintain IT documentation, improve repetitive administration through automation, and contribute to infrastructure and security projects.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, or a similar technical role.
• Strong business-environment experience supporting Apple macOS devices and Windows devices.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including users, groups, permissions, and associated services.
• Experience with device management or MDM tooling, ideally in an Apple environment.
• Understanding of identity, account and access management, networking fundamentals, and hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication, organisation, prioritisation, ownership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux and an interest in broader systems administration.
• Scripting or automation experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Understanding of IT and endpoint security best practices.
