Technical Operations Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in New York City, San Francisco, Boston, London, or Buenos Aires

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 annual base salary for the New York City or San Francisco office, plus equity; compensation varies by location.

What you will do

• Triage and resolve technical issues through automation, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Manage macOS devices and development environments at scale, including provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Investigate failures across Google Workspace, MDM, AWS, identity, and access management systems.
• Build runbooks, troubleshooting guides, documentation, and self-service tools for engineers and internal teams.
• Lead projects involving device provisioning, access control, compliance automation, and onboarding.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, People Ops, and Finance while mentoring future IT team members.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT operations or technical support, ideally supporting engineering teams in a high-growth SaaS or AI company.
• Experience with identity management, single sign-on, and access control using Okta.
• Expertise troubleshooting the Apple ecosystem and MDM tools such as Mosyle.
• Advanced Google Workspace administration, including SAML or OIDC, lifecycle automation, and SCIM.
• Experience supporting AWS and familiarity with GCP or Azure, plus DNS, VPN, and routing troubleshooting.
• Scripting and automation skills with Python, TypeScript, or Bash, along with infrastructure as code and configuration management experience.
