Senior Operations Manager

Location: Hanover, Maryland, United States; onsite fulfillment center role

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead receiving, inventory control, replenishment, and inbound warehouse operations across the food-based fulfillment center.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Oversee unloading, inspection, documentation, system transactions, product quality, and traceability during receiving.
• Develop inventory strategies that improve space utilization, product rotation, inventory turns, and warehouse efficiency.
• Analyze operational data, establish inventory KPIs, prepare reports, and communicate performance to leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop teams across receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping while partnering with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Distribution, and HR.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong experience with receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management best practices, and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution regulations, including OSHA, AIB, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, and FDA requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, conflict-resolution, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work hands-on in the facility, including standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM, or another relevant certification.
• Five or more years of plant operations experience.
• Five or more years of manufacturing experience.
