Warehouse Operations Manager (Fine Art Logistics)

Location: New York, United States. Workplace: On-site.

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year.

hirify.global is a licensed freight forwarding startup combining technology, logistics, and the art world to provide global shipping and storage for high-end, valuable, and bulky goods through SaaS-enabled services.

What you will do

• Take responsibility for the operational performance and financial results of the site, including storage, fine art handling, packing, transport, and site P&L.
• Set up the new site from the ground up, with target opening during 2026.
• Oversee safe storage, inbound and outbound movements, inventory traceability, loading and unloading, facility layouts, and physical security.
• Lead fine art handling, packing, wooden crating, materials selection, and compliance with client, insurance, and international transport requirements.
• Schedule and optimize a fleet of 3–5 trucks and drivers, coordinating routes, resources, collections, deliveries, and last-minute changes.
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop warehouse staff, drivers, and technical teams; support client visits and continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management, ideally in fine art or high-value goods logistics.
• Proven experience managing teams and supervising managers or team leads.
• Strong technical expertise in fine art handling, packing, crating, and installation.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and WMS/IMS tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and operational rigor.
• Client-oriented mindset and experience in high-expectation service environments.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
