Location: Torrance, California, United States. Travel up to 10% may be required. ITAR eligibility is required: U.S. citizenship or nationality, U.S. lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
Salary: $113,600–$130,800 USD per year for roles hired in California.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, plans, and procedures aligned with AS9100, customer, and internal quality management system requirements.
- Lead nonconformance investigations, corrective actions, root cause analysis, MRB activities, audits, and inspection and test capability analysis.
- Drive advanced quality practices and production-readiness activities throughout product development.
- Manage field quality issues, failure investigations, customer communication, and corrective-action closure.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers to identify risks and improve product quality and reliability.
- Develop quality dashboards and trend analysis, and support qualification, FAI, verification, validation, audits, and customer reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of quality, manufacturing, or engineering experience in aerospace, defense, regulated, high-reliability, or complex commercial electronics environments.
- Knowledge of GD&T, design review, configuration management, and quality management for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Experience managing MRB nonconformances, corrective actions, customer or program quality requirements, and quality flowdowns.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management system standards.
- Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements for work in the United States.
Nice to have
- ASQ CQE, Certified Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, or IPC certifications.
- Experience with Oracle ERP, QMS software, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, and Measurement Capability Analysis.
- Experience with aerospace and defense electromechanical assemblies, IPC and MIL-STD specifications, reliability engineering, qualification testing, and failure analysis.
- Experience with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analysis and visualization tools.
- Startup or high-growth experience scaling quality processes.
