Head of IT (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; hybrid

Salary: $140,000–$276,000 annually, with potential additional bonuses, incentives, and equity.

What you will do

• Build and lead the central IT function and team across San Francisco and Asia.
• Own identity and access, MDM and endpoint management, and the core SaaS stack, including Slack, Notion, Linear, and Google Workspace.
• Lead the migration from Feishu to Slack and Notion while maintaining uninterrupted service during cutovers.
• Implement automated joiner, mover, and leaver provisioning through SSO and SCIM, together with MFA and least-privilege access.
• Operate the service desk with SLAs and AI ticket deflection, while managing assets and onboarding and offboarding processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience and 4+ years leading teams, ideally in a fast-scaling, multi-office company.
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management, including SSO, IAM, SCIM, MFA, MDM, endpoint management, and SaaS administration.
• End-to-end ownership of enterprise tool selections, rollouts, or migrations, including adoption.
• Strong IT operations and service management experience covering service desks, SLAs, asset lifecycles, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Experience leading distributed teams across time zones.
