Head of IT

Location: San Francisco, United States. Visa sponsorship and a relocation stipend are available to bring the successful candidate to San Francisco, if possible.

Annual salary: $200K–$300K, plus significant equity.

What you will do

• Own the IT function end to end, including systems, endpoints, identity, SaaS, office infrastructure, support, and IT security.
• Lead a small team and define technical direction, priorities, and operating standards.
• Manage identity, access, endpoints, and core SaaS such as SSO, SCIM, MFA, MDM, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Automate repetitive work and build self-service capabilities using APIs, AI tools, Bash, and Python.
• Partner with Security on least privilege, endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Own office technology across locations, including networking, AV, conference rooms, and physical security.

Requirements

• Experience owning and scaling IT functions in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Hands-on leadership experience, including developing a small team while contributing technically.
• Deep expertise with macOS, MDM, Google Workspace, SaaS, identity, and access management.
• Strong experience with automation, APIs, AI tools, Bash, and Python.
• Strong security experience across endpoints, identity, access, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ability to work in or relocate to San Francisco, United States.
