Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee, United States; 5 days in office, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; approximately 10% travel.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale engineering projects supporting the fuel fabrication plant.
  • Manage engineering design, analysis, evaluation, resources, and project execution across multiple projects.
  • Direct design-cycle sprints and coordinate engineering teams, partners, suppliers, engineering firms, procurement, and contracts.
  • Oversee project leads, reporting, technical strategies, schedules, budgets, and quality of engineering work products.
  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering work on nuclear reactor and nuclear fuel-related technologies.
  • Facilitate design reviews, maintain documentation, and control product design configuration data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Typically 10+ years of professional project engineering experience after completing undergraduate study; graduate degrees may count as additional experience.
  • Experience estimating the time and resources required for engineering activities.
  • Specialized knowledge of project engineering management.
  • Ability to make complex technical and engineering decisions, assess information quality, and provide recommendations.
