Salary: $171,347–$228,463 per year, with the range specific to Wyoming.

What you will do
- Own and govern the station’s design, component, system, reactor, and program engineering functions.
- Serve as the Design Authority and provide executive-level technical input on plant risk, plant conditions, and operational decisions.
- Set engineering standards, policies, procedures, staffing models, qualification requirements, and training standards.
- Integrate engineering requirements across operations, maintenance, work planning, construction, and startup activities.
- Manage engineering budgets, long-range resource plans, performance monitoring, self-assessments, and corrective action programs.
- Act as the primary engineering interface with regulatory agencies and lead audits, inspections, readiness reviews, and management assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience at a nuclear power plant.
- At least 5 years of management or senior technical leadership experience.
- Supervisory or management experience at a nuclear power plant during outages and at power.
- Meet qualification requirements under ANSI/ANS 3.1 and applicable education and nuclear-industry experience criteria.
- Applicants may need to provide U.S. citizenship, nationality, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident status information for U.S. export-control review.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- Professional Engineer certification.
- Previous SRO license or certification.
- Experience governing nuclear engineering programs and leading performance improvement and corrective actions.
