Part Time Shows & Logistics Security Officer

Location: Hybrid schedule based at either the Santa Ana, CA headquarters or Jersey City, NJ office. Travel of up to 70% is required across North America. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Hourly rate: $30.

hirify.global provides technology-enabled grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales services for trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, tickets, and memorabilia.

What you will do

• Provide security at trade shows and other events, including regular travel, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and dismantle CCTV systems at event venues.
• Provide secure transportation of personnel and high-value assets to and from venues.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, access points, and premises; patrol for unusual activity and respond to incidents.
• Maintain security logs, review camera footage, and prepare incident reports.
• Coordinate with security colleagues, event staff, vendors, the public, and local law enforcement.

Requirements

• At least two years of security experience, preferably in a corporate or executive-protection environment.
• Valid California BSIS Guard Card or SORA card.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to drive at night.
• U.S. work authorization is required; hirify.global uses E-Verify.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Technical proficiency with CCTV systems, strong communication skills, basic Microsoft Office or Google program knowledge, and ability to lift and move materials weighing 75+ pounds with assistance or proper equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience in secure transportation.
• Spanish bilingual ability.
• Valid passport.
• Reserve or former military, police officer, First Aid, CPR, or other emergency certification experience.
