AI & Data Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week

Salary: $125,000–$160,000 base salary annually for candidates located in New York, New York, plus a performance bonus

What you will do

• Configure and integrate the Business Transformation tool stack, resolving API, connectivity, and configuration issues.
• Design Salesforce–Snowflake integrations, cross-system data flows, Streamlit applications, and operational dashboards.
• Deploy AI-enabled automations using Snowflake Cortex, Claude/CoWork, N8N, and related AI-native tools.
• Support prototyping, testing, and operationalization of agentic workflows while creating reusable automation templates.
• Maintain Snowflake queries, data models, reporting layers, and DataHub cataloging; support data security and integrity.
• Establish testing, deployment, version control, documentation, reliability, error-handling, and logging practices in partnership with Technology and InfoSec.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in systems, automation, data engineering, or business systems; fintech experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL, plus SaaS platform configuration and API integrations.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as N8N, Zapier, Make, or equivalent.
• Git and software engineering fundamentals, including environments, testing, and CI/CD basics.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in the New York City hybrid model with at least 3 office days per week.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Admin configuration, including flows, custom objects, and reports.
• AI/LLM tooling or agentic frameworks such as Claude/CoWork or LangChain.
• Data cataloging experience with DataHub, Alation, or Collibra.
• Python or scripting for automation and data processing.
• Streamlit development, alternative investments, or wealth management operations experience.
