Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York, NY, with 5 days per week in-office; paid relocation support to NYC is available.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 base annually, plus benefits and 0.05%–0.1% equity.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for core product areas, from information architecture through interaction polish.
• Shape product and feature direction with product and engineering partners.
• Turn complex financial and operational workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and ship designs, often within the same week.
• Use qualitative and quantitative signals to evaluate and improve shipped work.
• Balance speed and design quality while working within real product constraints.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or complex workflow products.
• Strong product thinking and visual and interaction design skills.
• Experience taking ambiguous problems from concept to shipped product.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and product managers.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial, enterprise, or data-heavy products.
• Comfort with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or prototyping in code.
• Experience in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
• Interest in AI tools and incorporating them into design workflows.
• Strong product-quality judgment supported by taste and data.
