Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-person and onsite

Salary: $150,000–$240,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design end-to-end product experiences across Comfy Cloud and desktop, from UX flows and wireframes to polished production UI.
• Translate complex technical systems and visual AI workflows into approachable, flexible interactions.
• Design empty states, edge cases, loading behaviors, and interaction feedback so users always understand the next step.
• Collaborate with engineering on implementation, design fidelity, specifications, and design rationale.
• Maintain and evolve the design system across components, themes, and interaction patterns.
• Prototype, test, and iterate quickly while contributing to a design culture based on clarity, speed, and first-principles thinking.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating taste, creativity, and elegant solutions to complex product problems.
• Ability to work independently and take rough wireframes or specifications through production-ready design.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and balancing design intent with implementation feasibility.
• Ability to simplify complex technical workflows without sacrificing flexibility or power.
• Fluency in Figma and modern design-system practices.
• Experience designing complex creative digital products such as video or image editors, 3D or VFX tools, or video games.
