Manager, Data Driven Quality

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person collaboration, meetings, and occasional project travel are required.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electrified and digitally enabled pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrains.

What you will do

• Lead execution of the data-driven, AI-enabled Quality roadmap and translate Quality objectives into priorities, work plans, and scalable digital solutions.
• Create lean Quality processes using automation and AI-supported solutions to reduce manual effort, improve response times, and optimize costs.
• Partner with Quality, IT, data governance, and cybersecurity stakeholders to evaluate and implement digital tools and platforms.
• Develop and continuously improve Quality KPI dashboards, reporting frameworks, automated reports, escalation workflows, and team processes.
• Build and lead a Quality AI Center of Excellence, managing Data Engineers and Scientists and aligning use cases with Scout, VW Group, and Quality business units.
• Establish IT-based problem-resolution processes covering root cause analysis, escalation management, corrective-action effectiveness tracking, and documentation of quality issues and lessons learned.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in automotive quality, manufacturing, or engineering, ideally in an OEM environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, including leading teams and influencing international cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience with data-driven quality management, KPI system design, digital transformation, production processes, supplier quality, and structured problem-solving.
• Six Sigma certification, preferably Black Belt, and strong knowledge of quality management systems.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI and automation platforms such as Power Platform, plus strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI or advanced analytics in quality or manufacturing environments.
• International experience with VW Group.
• German language capabilities.
