Electronic Component Products & Quality Sr Engineering Manager

Location: Full-time onsite in Mossville, Illinois or Dallas, Texas, United States; domestic relocation is available. The role requires working onsite five days per week and 25% travel.

Salary: $172,630–$258,950 annually.

What you will do

• Lead engineering managers and cross-functional partners responsible for electronic component development and product quality.
• Guide product teams in creating and managing lifecycle product roadmaps.
• Manage operating budgets, staffing plans, performance metrics, and team execution.
• Drive product quality through Design for Excellence, verification and validation, manufacturing audits, defect containment, and continuous product improvement.
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships and manage component portfolios across the supply base.
• Ensure regulatory, environmental, and cybersecurity compliance while introducing digital engineering practices, AI-enabled development tools, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading teams of 20 or more people in a globally distributed organization.
• Experience with electronic component products, component integration, and product quality management.
• Experience with component product development in the automotive, construction, or mining industry.
• Experience managing business plans, budgets, actuals tracking, capital processes, suppliers, manufacturing processes, audits, and operational controls.
