Automation General Manager (Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Hope Mills, North Carolina, United States. Travel may be required at 10–15%, increasing to up to 60% during onboarding and training.

Salary: $108,000–$162,000 base annual pay, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Oversee daily automation operations and production management at a customer distribution center.
• Assess performance, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Own the site operating plan, customer financial commitments, and operational performance reporting.
• Build strong customer partnerships, maintain quality standards, and resolve operational issues.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the site operations team.
• Champion safety, quality, operational discipline, and compliance with LOTO protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, industrial automation, business administration, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of functional management and direct supervisory experience.
• At least 5 years of direct leadership experience in an operations environment.
• Experience in logistics, material management, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of operational metrics, performance management, budgeting, and financial management.
• Ability to work overtime and travel as needed; a valid driver’s license is required.
