Manager, Cloud and Data

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within the U.S.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year, with actual compensation based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

What you will do

• Lead the Cloud and Data team and manage day-to-day team operations.
• Architect, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure for a geographically distributed autonomous robot fleet.
• Mentor team members and support hiring, retention, and team growth.
• Contribute to long-term planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Partner thoughtfully and empathetically with stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical experience in data engineering.
• Expertise with SQL, Python, distributed processing such as Spark or PySpark, ETL/ELT, and AWS or GCP cloud services.
• 2+ years of team management experience, including hiring, mentoring, and retaining high-impact, diverse teams.
• Experience evaluating and integrating external services and software.
• Experience leveraging agentic AI for team and organizational success.
• Current U.S. work authorization and U.S. residence are required; visa sponsorship and international employment arrangements are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT and related technologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Streamlit, AWS Batch, Kafka or Flink, Snowflake or Athena/Trino, and Kubernetes.
