Engineering Technician (Biomanufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - West Chester; onsite day or night shift

Salary: $28.50-$46.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform emergency, corrective, and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems used by the Process Execution Team.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, I/O, vision systems, HMIs, SCADAs, servers, databases, data historians, and other automation equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze data trends, and identify root causes and process improvements.
• Support deviation investigations, equipment qualification, validation protocols, retrofits, upgrades, and new equipment installations.
• Lead improvement initiatives involving changeover reduction, yield, OEE, maintenance reliability, and waste reduction.
• Coordinate maintenance, investigations, training, mentoring, and technical studies with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and supporting equipment performance in a regulated production environment.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of ladder logic, equipment troubleshooting, diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and related work-order and MRO procedures.
• Ability to handle equipment parts, tooling, and maintenance materials, and to work under established safety procedures.
• Ability to wear gowning, sterile garments, and PPE as required.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, associate degree in engineering, or related mechanical trade training.
• Experience with automated equipment, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and electrical or mechanical testing equipment.
• Experience with OEE, TPM, LEAN, or other continuous improvement systems.
