Inspection Technician/Operator (Advanced Electronics)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States. On-site work in a manufacturing environment with shifts that may include weekends, holidays, schedule changes, and overtime.

What you will do

• Monitor and operate complex processes, manufacturing equipment, and facilities.
• Collect and analyze samples and verify that products meet quality requirements.
• Perform inspections using testing and metrology equipment, escalate abnormalities, and make corrections according to established procedures.
• Follow housekeeping, preventative maintenance, production, and safety standards.
• Operate mobile equipment, manufacturing machinery, hand tools, and testing devices safely.
• Collaborate with colleagues in shift meetings, problem-solving sessions, training events, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational school or an associate’s degree preferred.
• Prior industrial experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or an equivalent trade is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and accurate data entry into IT systems and databases.
• Ability to read and follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and communicate professionally.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, change schedules according to business needs, and work overtime when required.
