Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, or New York City, New York

Salary: $250,000–$295,000 estimated base salary, plus equity and bonus. The posting also lists a target salary range of $230,000–$285,000 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Bring new products from zero to one in close collaboration with the founders.
• Own substantial engineering scope that delivers customer value and establishes hirify.global's technical foundation.
• Shape the product roadmap and engineering standards with product, design, and engineering partners.
• Build AI-powered products using TypeScript, Prisma, Temporal, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Pulsar, ClickHouse, and LLMs.
• Evaluate and integrate technology platforms and vendors to accelerate product delivery.
• Establish infrastructure and engineering foundations that support team and business growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
• Ability to translate high-level business and product ideas into deployed engineering solutions.
• Experience standing up and managing infrastructure.
• Customer-focused, creative, independent, and highly collaborative approach.
• Ability and enthusiasm to mentor multiple engineers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from San Francisco or New York City.
