AV Central Operations Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

hirify.global AV develops autonomous transportation operations in partnership with industry leaders such as Waymo, with a focus on safer and more efficient mobility.

What you will do

• Monitor autonomous vehicle fleet status and depot needs in real time using proprietary fleet management software.
• Identify and triage charging, cleaning, maintenance, and out-of-service requirements.
• Communicate continuously with remote depot teams and management to resolve issues quickly and minimize vehicle downtime.
• Follow escalation protocols, operational procedures, and partner safety standards.
• Complete daily reports and operational documentation.
• Track recurring issues and trends to improve fleet efficiency and readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to respond quickly in changing, high-pressure environments and lift or pull up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history, and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record are required; pre-employment drug screening may apply.

Nice to have

• Experience with fleet management, logistics, or dispatch software.
• Advanced Google Workspace or Microsoft Office skills, especially Sheets or Excel for data analysis.
• Experience in a call center, control room, or Network Operations Center environment.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle technology and basic operational concepts.
