HCM Business Partner, Talent Lead

Location: New York - Park Avenue, United States

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 base salary per year, plus eligible annual discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end talent program experience for junior investment professionals, including onboarding, development, engagement, business school application support, performance calibration, promotion discussions, and offboarding.
• Monitor engagement, retention, employee experience, development needs, and retention risks across Analyst and Associate populations.
• Design and deliver learning and development curricula covering technical investing capabilities, professional effectiveness, and leadership development.
• Coordinate mentorship, networking, and community-building initiatives across global Analyst and Associate cohorts.
• Act as a first point of contact for employee relations, career development, and workplace matters, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Support performance reviews, compensation processes, immigration matters, and broader Human Capital initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree or HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.
• 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in financial services, alternative asset management, investment banking, private equity, credit, consulting, or other high-performance professional services environments.
• Experience designing or managing talent development programs for early-career professionals is strongly preferred.
• Strong foundation in employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and HR generalist work.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, judgment, organization, discretion, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; Workday experience is a plus.
