Global HR Business Partner — R&D

Location: Santa Clara, United States; on-site

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the global people and organizational agenda for R&D in partnership with the Chief Product Officer and R&D leadership.
• Shape organization design, workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership capability, and investment decisions.
• Manage performance and complex employee relations matters from diagnosis through resolution, partnering with Legal and regional People teams.
• Coach executives and managers through growth, transformation, team effectiveness, and difficult talent decisions.
• Build and improve global People programs, including performance management, onboarding, manager enablement, and talent reviews.
• Convert complex organizational problems into structured workstreams and drive execution across global regions.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a senior HR Business Partner or People Partner supporting Engineering, Product, R&D, or another complex technical organization.
• Experience acting as a strategic thought partner to senior executives and contributing to leadership-team decisions.
• Strong expertise in organization design, talent strategy, performance management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness.
• Hands-on ownership of performance and employee relations matters through resolution.
• Experience in high-growth, transformation, or 0-to-1/1-to-2 environments where processes and roles were still being built.
• Meaningful global experience working through regional People teams and strong fluency in technical organizations.
