Staff Product Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Hybrid in Bellevue, Washington; remote arrangements considered case by case for candidates in the United States

Salary: $220,000–$250,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the front-end architecture and user experience from concept through shipping and iteration.
• Define front-end quality, performance standards, reusable patterns, and development practices.
• Build responsive, scalable, data-dense interfaces for analytics and AI-driven workflows.
• Partner with the CTO, Founding Designer, and product team to translate product ideas into polished interfaces.
• Bring a strong product perspective to engineering decisions and advocate for users.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of hands-on front-end product development.
• Experience taking a product from zero to one with end-to-end ownership.
• Track record of shipping to internal or external users and iterating based on feedback.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Bellevue-based setup or be considered for a remote arrangement on a case-by-case basis.

Nice to have

• Experience building interfaces backed by LLMs or agent frameworks.
• Background in analytics, data visualization, or AI-driven products.
• Familiarity with financial software, models, or data.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
