Engineering Technician II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; based at the Burnet, TX facility

What you will do

• Support hands-on laboratory and production activities across multiple processes.
• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment and tools according to procedures and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process deviations, and tooling issues, escalating or resolving them based on experience.
• Execute experiments, collect data, and document findings with accuracy and traceability.
• Support process improvements by identifying issues, suggesting solutions, and helping implement changes.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams while maintaining work areas, materials, equipment, logs, work instructions, and basic SAP transactions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience in electronics, mechanics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with mechanical, chemical, or electromechanical systems in a laboratory, production, technical, or R&D environment.
• Experience working with tools, equipment, or instrumentation.
• Strong documentation discipline, attention to detail, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, wear required PPE, and sit, stand, and move for extended periods.
