Materials Application Development/Tech Service

Location: Hybrid role based primarily at the Circleville, Ohio plant, with consideration for other hirify.global locations including Sunnyvale, California, and RTP, North Carolina. Business travel of approximately 40% is required.

What you will do

• Plan projects, define technical objectives, and support business growth.
• Conduct prototyping, laboratory work, and hands-on product testing.
• Develop and deliver materials-based solutions that address customer needs and capture value.
• Understand customer processes and hirify.global product and service offerings.
• Manage technology processes related to AFT products and services.
• Collaborate with business development, marketing, sales, product management, account managers, customers, and OEM stakeholders to develop and commercialize new materials and products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics.
• Technical proficiency, customer relationship-building ability, and business development experience.
• Laboratory and hands-on experience with materials, applications, or processes.
• Strong communication skills for global communication in English; English proficiency is required.
• Ability to lead peer teams involving internal functions, customers, and OEM personnel.
• Ability to use initiative, manage time effectively, adapt to new materials and processes, and deliver results.

Nice to have

• At least three years of experience designing high-voltage electric machines.
• Experience in the electronics industry.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
