Mechanical Engineer V

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $163,000–$224,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Develop and implement concepts for complex product issues and mechanical engineering solutions.
• Lead or execute engineering projects and research and development of new technologies.
• Design, develop, and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, and processes.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex engineering problems using engineering analysis.
• Generate product specifications and define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering tests.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to address complex engineering issues and high-value product problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10–15 years of professional experience.
• Deep technical expertise and knowledge of the hirify.global product life cycle.
• In-depth knowledge of other disciplines within the engineering function.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
