Field Service Engineer (Automation) (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Frankfurt, Germany; the role also includes customer-site visits and overseas work as required

Salary: €46,000–€69,000 per year

What you will do

• Support and deploy automated platforms at the Germany build facility and customer sites.
• Maintain automated platforms and help minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Keep deployment and service documentation accurate and up to date.
• Oversee third-party service providers during maintenance visits.
• Provide service desk support and collaborate with other teams and departments.

Requirements

• Willingness to be based in Germany and work at the Frankfurt facility and customer sites.
• German and English proficiency.
• Proven experience in a similar field service or automation role.
• Experience with robotics or laboratory hardware, control panels, and electrical circuits.
• Python programming skills and customer-facing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience training or servicing SCARA robots.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
