Electrician or Automation Technician (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Stuttgart, Germany; approximately 25–50% travel to customer locations. Flexible working hours and occasional work from home are available when needed.

What you will do

• Build and wire electrical systems for robotic applications, including control cabinets and field wiring.
• Support system installation, testing, and commissioning in the robotics lab and at customer locations.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers on seamless system integration.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults during development and deployment.
• Implement technical improvements and modifications based on project feedback.

Requirements

• Completed technical training or a comparable vocational qualification in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation, such as electrician, control cabinet builder, or electrical master.
• Certification to perform electrical work as an Elektrofachkraft (EFK).
• Experience with electrical installations, control systems, sensors, and actuators.
• Relevant professional experience in automation or robotics is preferred.
• Valid EU Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 25–50%.
• Hands-on mentality and strong technical craftsmanship.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of EPLAN or Splan.
