Senior Analytics Engineer, Product

Location: Remote from France; optional office access in Paris

Salary: €65,000–€80,000 per year, plus equity; no individual variable bonus

What you will do

• Own metric definitions and build the semantic layer powering AI-assisted self-service analytics in Hex.
• Translate operational problems and early product ideas into production-grade data assets and pipelines.
• Own tables consumed by the product and build user-facing dashboards and custom interfaces.
• Partner with Product squads, Customer Success, Marketing, sponsors, and site operations.
• Automate repetitive data workflows using AI-assisted tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a hybrid data engineering and analytics role.
• Strong dbt and warehouse modeling skills, including BigQuery.
• Experience owning data products end to end, from definition and delivery to measurable adoption.
• Product mindset with the ability to start from user problems and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-data stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or Hex AI.
• Experience building production-grade company dashboards.
• Exposure to healthcare, clinical trials, or other regulated industries.
