Senior Analytics Engineer (Snowflake/dbt)

Location: London, UK; hybrid with 2 days in the office

What you will do

• Own analytics engineering for assigned business domains, from metric definitions and data models through dashboards and insights.
• Design, build, document, test, and maintain production-quality dbt models in Snowflake.
• Resolve inconsistencies in metric logic and maintain a certified source of truth.
• Build high-value dashboards in Tableau and contribute to the evolving Sigma stack.
• Develop semantic-layer definitions, embedded analytics, and data products for internal teams and brand partners.
• Automate recurring analytics work and add monitoring and validation to keep outputs reliable.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or a similar technical analytics role.
• Expert SQL skills with large and complex datasets.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt, including dimensional modeling, incremental models, testing, and documentation.
• Strong Tableau skills and sound judgment around metric grain, denominators, filters, time zones, and deduplication.
• Ability to manage work across multiple domains, work directly with stakeholders, and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in London with 2 days in the office.

Nice to have

• Python for automation and data validation.
• Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or B2B SaaS analytics.
• Experience with Segment, GA4, semantic layers, Snowflake Cortex, embedded analytics, or customer-facing data products.
• Experience with A/B testing, cohort analysis, or difference-in-differences.
