TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst (SaaS): Designing experiments, defining business metrics, and building trusted datasets and models with an accent on experimentation, analytics engineering, and cross-functional decision support. Focus on evaluating A/B tests and quasi-experiments, modelling SaaS revenue metrics, migrating transformations to dbt, and helping build an AI Analyst MCP for self-service data analysis.
Location: Remote within CET ±1, including the EU, UK, Ukraine and South Africa; expected availability and responsiveness across CET 9–5.

What you will do
- Drive analytical projects from business questions through recommendations and shipped outcomes.
- Design, size, and assess A/B tests, pre/post analyses, and quasi-experiments.
- Interpret experiment results honestly and communicate conclusions, limitations, and confidence levels.
- Define the metrics and leading indicators used to guide product, marketing, R&D, and revenue decisions.
- Build ETL/ELT transformations, curated datasets, and analytical models while supporting the migration to dbt.
- Help build AI Analyst, an internal MCP that enables stakeholders to self-serve data questions.
Requirements
- Senior-level data analysis experience in SaaS, including modelling NDR, expansion, contraction, and MRR.
- Strong experimentation experience, including A/B test design, sizing, analysis, and alternative methods when clean testing is not possible.
- Expert SQL, Python for advanced analysis, and experience with Looker or a comparable BI tool.
- Strong data modelling and analytics engineering skills with substantial dbt experience.
- Ability to work autonomously across product, marketing, R&D, and revenue in a remote environment.

- Data science experience, including building and productionizing machine learning models.
- Principal- or staff-level experience.
