Senior Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (Platform) (m/f/x) (AWS/Terraform): Building secure, scalable platform engineering foundations and CI/CD automation for cloud-based financial services with an accent on AWS infrastructure, developer tooling, and DevOps enablement. Focus on designing distributed systems, automating workflows across ECS, Lambda, and EKS, and improving software delivery performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Location: Berlin, Germany. International relocation support is provided if required, and working from abroad is available.

What you will do
- Shape performant, secure, and cost-efficient approaches for building microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify platform build and development requirements.
- Design and roll out CI/CD improvements and internal automation tooling across ECS, Lambda, and EKS.
- Develop AI-based supporting tools and libraries.
- Provide reusable platform building blocks, educate development teams, and strengthen the DevOps culture.
- Design infrastructure best practices and support migrations to new technologies.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience with AWS and infrastructure as code, mainly Terraform.
- Solid experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tools.
- Good working knowledge of Python and at least one additional general-purpose programming language, preferably Java/Kotlin or JavaScript/Node.
- Strong understanding of scalable system design, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and build automation.
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Full professional proficiency in English and concise communication in an international English-speaking environment.
