DevOps Engineer #3

Location: Berlin, Germany; in-person role. Candidates must be based in Berlin or willing to relocate.

Salary: €75,000–€150,000 annual base salary plus equity

hirify.global is building a regulated banking platform that combines a national bank charter with Marble, a proprietary core banking system.

What you will do

• Build and operate the platform infrastructure supporting the engineering organization.
• Design, automate, and scale AWS infrastructure and production-grade Kubernetes environments.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, observability systems, and incident response practices.
• Own large infrastructure projects autonomously, including deployment environments and multi-region infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering, security, and product to improve reliability, developer experience, and delivery speed.
• Shape the infrastructure roadmap alongside the Lead DevOps Engineer.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS, including IAM, EC2, EKS, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Ability to design, debug, and operate production-grade Kubernetes environments.
• Strong Terraform experience, including modules, workspaces, and complex architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation and tooling.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD systems, observability, distributed tracing, and incident response.
