TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (AWS): Designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure, Terraform-based IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls with an accent on scalability, reliability, and compliance. Focus on building multi-account environments, improving observability and secure deployments, supporting ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness, and leading incident response.
Location: Munich or Berlin, Germany; office attendance required 2–3 times per week

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, networking, and multi-account environments.
- Own clean, scalable, and auditable Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment processes.
- Drive observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting across the technology stack.
- Support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audit readiness and ongoing compliance.
- Lead incident response, apply SRE fundamentals, and enable engineering teams by removing infrastructure blockers.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, networking, and multi-account setups.
- Production experience building and maintaining Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices.
- Knowledge of security fundamentals, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and KMS.
- Experience supporting ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 audits.
- Experience with observability at scale and clear communication across engineering teams.
Nice to have
- Ownership and certification experience for ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Experience with DevSecOps tooling such as SAST, DAST, SBOMs, and security scanning.
- Experience with threat modeling or continuous compliance automation.
