Supervisor, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, with in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 annual base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, vendor onboarding, and customer invoicing.
• Manage payment terms, W-9 documentation, AP and AR aging, cash disbursements, and collections activity.
• Recognize revenue under ASC 606 across point-in-time hardware deliveries and percentage-of-completion study and service contracts.
• Support month-end close through reconciliations, accruals, account analysis, and appropriate treatment of unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, and contract assets.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Mission Services, Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to resolve billing, purchase order, and payment discrepancies.
• Improve controls, documentation, automation, and scalable workflows while training future AP/AR analysts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience.
• Experience overseeing full-cycle AP and AR workflows in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, hardware, or inventory-driven environments.
• Experience scaling accounting operations through process improvements.
• Experience with Ramp, Campfire, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar accounting and finance systems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to support audits and internal controls.

Nice to have

• Startup or high-growth company experience.
• Prior experience supporting audits or working in a pre-IPO environment.
• Experience introducing AP/AR workflows in a custom-built ERP system.
