Staff Accountant

Location: Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $73,500–$103,000 USD annually, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting processes, month-end close entries, account reconciliations, accruals, reserves, and account analysis.
• Support timely and accurate monthly financial statements and reporting schedules.
• Prepare audit documentation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Process vendor invoices, verify coding, manage approvals, and monitor accounts payable balances.
• Process customer invoices, apply cash, reconcile customer accounts, and monitor accounts receivable balances.
• Maintain SOX and internal control compliance while identifying process improvements and supporting special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of related accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Sage.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to executives, peers, and auditors.
