Accounts Payable Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work required at the Denver or Littleton, Colorado offices according to an agreed schedule. U.S. work authorization is required for ITAR compliance.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Process vendor invoices with accurate coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Support weekly ACH, wire, and check payment runs, vendor maintenance, and vendor inquiries.
• Perform payable and cash reconciliations and support general ledger accounting.
• Assist with newly acquired company integration, accounting policy adoption, and coordination with procurement teams and segment controllers.
• Support month-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Maintain internal control documentation and organized records for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of general accounting experience.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations for ITAR compliance.

• Accounts payable process experience.
• Experience with multi-entity or subsidiary accounting.
