Senior Revenue Accountant (AdTech)

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for complex revenue transactions.
• Maintain revenue schedules and ensure recognition complies with US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and FP&A to resolve billing and reporting discrepancies.
• Analyze and reconcile large datasets using advanced Excel and Power Query.
• Support client billing, contract reviews, performance obligation assessments, and internal and external audits.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting workflows through automation, systems integrations, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Combination of public accounting experience, including Big 4 or regional firms, and private or industry experience.
• Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or ERP systems.
