Technical Accounting Manager (AdTech)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, with a hybrid schedule for employees near Bellevue or New York offices; fully remote for eligible employees located farther from the offices. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $117,688–$148,289 USD annually, plus eligible equity, bonuses, commissions, and overtime.

What you will do

• Develop technical accounting policies, research complex US GAAP standards, and prepare audit-ready accounting memos.
• Advise FP&A, Legal, and leadership on non-routine transactions and structural accounting impacts.
• Support technical month-end close areas including revenue, capitalized software, leases, commissions, and equity.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, investor reporting packages, and board materials.
• Help lead the annual external audit, coordinate PBC deliverables, and resolve technical accounting questions.
• Support accounting systems implementations and design scalable, audit-ready workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA license.
• 4–6+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit management.
• Deep hands-on experience with complex US GAAP standards and technical accounting memos.
• Experience building accounting frameworks and policies in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or interest in modern financial systems and AI-driven reporting tools, including NetSuite, Carta, or Tableau.

Nice to have

• Two or more years in Big 4 or top-tier public accounting, especially Accounting Advisory Services.
• Experience in SaaS, AdTech, media measurement, or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Experience with Workiva, M&A accounting, debt or equity financing, public-company readiness, or investor materials.
