Senior Accountant, Revenue

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; hybrid schedule with remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office work Tuesday through Thursday

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 base annually in California, plus bonus and equity

hirify.global operates an independent sell-side advertising platform that helps publishers monetize content across CTV, streaming, online video, display, and audio.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly revenue, contra-revenue, publisher-related, accrual, true-up, and reserve journal entries.
• Calculate publisher adjustments, process vouchers and payment files, and maintain accounting schedules for US and international entities.
• Perform complex balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, investigate variances, and prepare close and margin analysis reports.
• Analyze contractual terms and support revenue recognition, reserve analysis, and exposure assessments.
• Execute and document SOX controls, validate publisher fee calculations and revenue transactions, and support quarterly and annual audits.
• Partner with Financial Systems, Product, Engineering, and Operations on Oracle changes, new offerings, reporting improvements, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment and with large transactional datasets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Experience with Oracle or large ERP systems and multiple foreign currencies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in advertising technology, SaaS, marketplace, or digital media.
• Experience with process automation or financial system improvements.
