Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

Location: Remote, with travel to Mojave, CA as needed

What you will do

• Direct SEC filings, including annual and quarterly reports, Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring accurate data and complete supporting documentation.
• Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, earnings-release data, and management analysis in compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Lead technical accounting research, prepare accounting memoranda, and implement new accounting standards.
• Coordinate external audits, quarterly reviews, 401(k) audits, debt covenant reporting, and Audit Committee materials.
• Coordinate Sarbanes-Oxley financial-control documentation and quarterly disclosure-control committee requirements.
• Oversee EPS analysis, weighted average shares outstanding, and monthly stock-based compensation expense and valuation support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of related experience, including public accounting and SEC reporting.
• CPA certification.
• Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, organization, prioritization, problem solving, logical reasoning, and critical thinking.
• Ability to communicate financial and accounting information and policies clearly to personnel at all levels.
• Remote work with travel to Mojave, California as needed.
