Production Manager (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Northlake, Illinois, United States; onsite fulfillment-center role

Salary: $85,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee daily fulfillment-center operations, scheduling, operating reports, KPIs, and performance against company goals.
• Lead receiving, production, inventory-control, and shipping teams while coordinating with logistics and distribution.
• Maintain a safety-first culture and meet environmental, health, quality, and safety standards, including OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FSSC, and FDA requirements.
• Drive continuous-improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Analyze production data, identify improvement opportunities, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective action plans.
• Develop site leadership capabilities, delegate responsibilities, support employee development, and partner with HR Business Partners.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants and strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Experience with root cause analysis, process training, equipment operation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to supervise and motivate multiple large teams, communicate across management levels, resolve conflicts, and make decisions.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM, or another relevant certification.
• Five or more years of plant operations experience.
• Five or more years of manufacturing experience.
