Product Lead (AI)

Location: Bay Area, United States; in-office

Salary: $200,000–$350,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from strategy through launch.
• Conduct user research and analyze performance metrics related to AI model behavior and emerging use cases.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Help design evaluation systems and live benchmarks for speed and quality in target use cases.
• Set performance targets that connect model capabilities to user needs.
• Partner with early customers to demonstrate value and convert pilots into repeatable product bets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Track record of driving product initiatives in rapidly changing technical environments and translating customer feedback into product definitions.
• Ability to read and write code, prototype, explore APIs, and work closely with engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs at the modeling or application layer.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting user research and interviews.
• Startup experience and a track record of scaling products from early stage to growth phase.
