Application Engineer Intern (Power Electronics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; work in the office or lab 3 days per week

Salary: $40/hour in California

What you will do

• Provide application support for customers and Field Application Engineers.
• Support application engineers and design engineers with new product evaluations and debugging.
• Simulate and bench-evaluate analog IC and module products for power conversion solutions.
• Develop reference designs and debug customer designs.
• Write application notes, design notes, and technical articles.
• Present project summaries and results to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must be able to live in San Jose during the internship.
• Be a third-year BSEE or fourth-year MSEE student.
• Have hands-on experience implementing and testing power electronics hardware.
• Have experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Written and verbal English proficiency with excellent communication skills is required.
