Intern - Engineering (Applications) (Mixed-Signal IC)

Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States; part-time onsite role with 0%–25% travel. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent U.S. residents, or protected individuals under U.S. export-control regulations.

Hourly pay: $20.00–$28.00 USD.

What you will do

• Support customer design-in activities by answering technical questions, reviewing schematics and PCB layouts, and debugging customer boards.
• Develop product datasheets, reference designs, user guides, application notes, and other technical collateral.
• Perform bench characterization and testing of new mixed-signal IC products.
• Create evaluation boards, reference-design schematics, application notes, and design tools for product launches.
• Work with product marketing, product management, chip design teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Collect product and application requirements through customer and cross-functional communication.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with discrete semiconductor components, including MOSFETs, BJTs, and diodes.
• Laboratory experience with digital oscilloscopes, function generators, curve tracers, and network analyzers.
• Experience using schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve technical problems independently, and complete deliverables on time.
• Strong organization, written and verbal communication, self-direction, and teamwork skills.
